The purpose of this article is to provide information about the basic pricing for origination (inbound) and termination (outbound) services offered by Trunking.io.
Trunking.io bills the reseller directly for all DIDs (Direct Inward Dialing numbers), call usage, and other carrier services. ****From the 2600Hz platform perspective, all Trunking.io customers integrated with the 2600Hz platform are considered “Bring Your Own Carrier” (BYOC) users.
Trunking.io will bill resellers directly for all telecommunications and carrier services, including DIDs (Direct Inward Dialing numbers), call origination and termination, messaging (including messaging registration), and similar services.
Telecommunications services are one of the most highly taxed and regulated industries. In addition to the standard sales tax in some states, there could be separate communications services taxes, utility users taxes, 911 fees, and various state and federal regulatory compliance obligations.
Trunking.io will calculate and apply all required taxes, surcharges, and regulatory fees for telecommunications services, which will be itemized on reseller invoices. Many of these charges can be exempted if the reseller is purchasing telecom services for resale and remits the taxes. To prevent double taxation, resellers can complete and submit the appropriate Exemption form. Once this exemption form is reviewed and approved, Trunking.io will no longer include the exempt taxes or regulatory charges on your invoice, and the reseller will then assume responsibility for remitting these taxes and regulatory fees directly to the relevant authorities.
By default, Trunking.io operates on a prepaid basis. This means that resellers add funds to their account using a credit card, and all charges or usage are deducted from that balance until it reaches the configured top-up threshold.
Resellers who wish to request postpaid terms (Net 30) may request this arrangement by completing and submitting Trunking.io Customer Payment Terms and Credit Application form.
